The Aarhus Architecture School ( Danish : Arkitektskolen Aarhus ) is a research and educational institution based in Aarhus, Denmark . It reports directly to the Ministry of Culture.
The school is divided into five specialist departments:
- Department of Architecture and Aesthetics
- Department of Landscape and Urban Development
- Department of Architectural Heritage
- Department of Design
- Architectural Design Department
The university education extends to bachelor and graduate degrees . In the area of professional training, degrees up to the master’s level are offered.
The Aarhus School of Architecture maintains partnerships with other institutions within the framework of European cooperation between universities (NORDPLUS, ERASMUS ). The school also has exchange programs with schools in the US and Japan.
