List of universities and colleges in Denmark

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of universities and colleges in Denmark . The university system in Denmark comprises nine state universities as the highest educational institutions in the country, five of which are full universities and four of which are monodisciplinary / specialized universities.

This is followed by a total of 20 art colleges and 23 so-called centers for further education ( Danish : Center for Videregående Uddannelser ) in the education system ; the latter mostly with teaching focuses on technical, natural, social or economic courses, comparable to German universities of applied sciences .

Universities

The nine universities differ greatly in size, academic profile and orientation, but all offer teaching and research-based degrees and doctoral degrees (including Bachelor , Master and PhD ).
