Universities in the Principality of Liechtenstein
The Principality of Liechtenstein has since the enactment of the law on universities , colleges and research institutes of 25 November 1992 formally through a tertiary education. On January 21, 2005, the Law on Higher Education (Hochschulgesetz; HSG) came into force, which regulates the tasks and position of universities in Liechtenstein.
There are currently the following higher education institutions in Liechtenstein:
- International Academy of Philosophy (IAP), founded in 1986
- Liechtenstein Institute (LI), founded in 1986
- Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL), founded in 2000
- University of Liechtenstein , founded in 1961
