IAP was temporarily a member of the Association of International Lake Constance Universities . This made it possible for students and researchers to use the facilities of the member universities (e.g. libraries, canteens, study programs) (e.g. University of Konstanz and University of Zurich ).

A partner university of the IAP is the Instituto de Filosofía Edith Stein in Granada, Spain.
