The Archives nationales du monde du travail (dt. National Archives of the Working World ) is a state authority of national importance, founded in 1993 and based in Roubaix , which is subordinate to the French Ministry of Culture .

tasks

Originally founded as Center des archives du monde du travail (CAMT), founded archive was in National Archives du monde du travail (ANMT) renamed.

The ANMT has the task of collecting company and trade union archives or, in the broadest sense, of preserving documents that are related to economic and social activities.

Field Office

The administrative headquarters at No. 78 Boulevard du Général Leclerc is located in the former Motte-Bossut yarn spinning mill . The building from 1865 has been protected as a Monument historique since 1978 .
