from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ardrass Church (also St. Patrick's Chapel ) is a small rectangular chapel in County Kildare in Ireland from the 15th century.

It is located southwest of the city of Celbridge and at the same time 25 kilometers west of Dublin on the regional road R 403.

The building has two windows one above the other in the east and a portal on the south side. The church is one of the very few surviving medieval churches in the country , still roofed with stone slabs . The heavy stone roof structure is supported by a pointed vault . The building was restored in 1888 and declared a National Monument in 1890 .
