The Arendscarree is a residential area in the Berlin district of Alt-Hohenschönhausen in the Lichtenberg district . The street names are named after the Swedish band ABBA .

history

The Arendscarree was created according to a holistic urban planning concept by the project developer Bonava between October 2016 and mid-2018 on an area of ​​around 17,700 m² at Arendsweg 74 . 92 terraced houses were built , consisting of six different types of terraced houses with different floor plans between 80 and 140 m². In addition to the row houses, a smaller variant was built for the first time, the floor plan of which is 80 m². The size of the property including the garden and the parking space vary between 113 and 262 m². All terraced houses are equipped with an intelligent smart home system, are heated by district heating and comply with the KfW 55 energy efficiency standard eligible for funding. In addition, the home furnishings of the particularly space- efficient houses include connections for a stair lift , a second bathroom and additional storage space solutions. A green area is integrated in the middle of the residential area. The topping-out ceremony was celebrated in 2017 and the first tenants moved into the new apartments in the same year.
