Argentina tour

The Tour of Argentina ( Spanish Vuelta a la Argentina ) was an Argentine bike race .

The stage race was only held three times, namely in 1952 (from late November to early December as Gran Premio Eva Perón ), 1999 and 2000 (from late February to early March) over several stages. The 2001 event was planned, but was canceled due to disputes between the Argentine Cycling Federation and the organizers of the race, as well as due to the fatal accident of Saúl Morales the year before.

For the 2006 season, the race was initially on the UCI America Tour calendar , but was later canceled again.
