Ari Kalevi Nyman (born February 7, 1984 in Turku ) is a Finnish football player .

Nyman began his career in 2000 in his Finnish homeland with Inter Turku and moved to Switzerland for FC Thun in January 2007 . In July 2008 he completed a trial training session at VfB Stuttgart . However, VfB decided after a week not to sign Nyman. After FC Thun relegated to the second top division of the Switzerland Challenge League in the 2008/09 season, Nyman was one of five players who were simply too expensive. He returned to his hometown club and has been playing there since 2009 to this day.
