Arianna Savall (* 1972 in Basel ) is a Spanish harpist , soprano and composer.

Life

Savall comes from a Catalan family of musicians, she is the daughter of Montserrat Figueras and Jordi Savall , her brother Ferran Savall is also a musician. She studied classical harp with Magdalena Barrera in Barcelona and singing with María Dolores Aldea . In 1996 she received the harp diploma and in 2000 the singing diploma from the Terrassa Conservatory . She completed her postgraduate studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, among others .
