Ariassus

Ariassos was an ancient city in Asia Minor landscape Pisidien at today Yürükbademlisi in Turkey .

The city is only mentioned in a few literary sources. The titular bishopric of Ariassus of the Roman Catholic Church goes back to a late antique bishopric . The location of Ariassos is confirmed by an inscription found there. The city was on two hills. The remains of a city wall have been preserved on the western hill, tombs and ruins of buildings on both hills .
