Ariel Y. Abadilla is a Filipino diplomat and was Ambassador to Ireland from 2009 to 2012 .

Abadilla became the first Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to reside in Ireland in 2009. He was previously Consul General of the Philippines in Hawaii . In early 2012, Abadilla retired after 44 years in the diplomatic service. Following the closure of the Philippine embassy in Dublin in mid-2012, Ireland will receive diplomatic support from the Philippine ambassador to the United Kingdom.
