Arif Erkin Güzelbeyoğlu

Arif Erkin Güzelbeyoğlu (born September 11, 1935 in Gaziantep , Turkey ) is a Turkish musician and actor. He was honored as a state artist (Devlet Sanatçısı) in Ankara .

Life

Arif Erkin first studied architecture at the Technical University of Istanbul . He is an instructor for music and ballet at the State Opera of Turkey. As a choir player he worked in London, among others. He is one of the founders of the Genç Oyuncular Tiyatrosu (Theater of Young Actors) and Dostlar Tiyatrosu (Theater of Friends). He also writes theater music.

He began his acting career with the film Keşanlı Ali Destanı and became known with the TV series İkinci Bahar (Second Love) with Türkân Şoray and Şener Şen . From 2005 to 2007 he played the Memik in the TV series Yabancı Damat (Stranger Groom). In 2007 he played the role of Mala Ahmet in Beyaz Melek (White Angel). After that he was seen in the series Canım Ailem (My Family).
