Nikolai Viktorovich Braichenko ( Russian: Николай Викторович Брайченко ; born October 15, 1986 in Shchuchinsk , Koktschetav Oblast , Kazakh SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Kazakh biathlete .

Nikolai Braitschenko contested his first international race as part of the Biathlon European Cup at the beginning of the 2006/07 season in Obertilliach and was 98 in his first sprint. At the end of the season , he also ran his first race in the Biathlon World Cup in Lahti and achieved an 82 Place in the individual. Up until 2009, he went on to play again, mostly in the Europe / IBU Cup, and in Obertilliach in 2008 he won points for the first time in this racing series as 38th. The 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa were a first highlight . Braichenko contested three races, was 37th in the sprint, 32nd in the pursuit and 34th in the individual. During the 2009/10 season , more appearances in the World Cup followed, including the Kazakhs in Pokljuka with a 46th place in a pursuit race, his best ever World Cup result. For career high point, however, the participation in was 2010 Olympic Winter Games from Vancouver , where Braitschenko came in the sprint for use and was 84th.
