Aristomenos
Aristomenos was thought to have been a native between 540 and 530 BC Active Greek vase painter of the black-figure style. His name has been passed down through a signed amphora in the Louvre in Paris and a fragmentarily signed hydria in the Biblioteca Civica Gambalunga in Rimini . Whether it is actually a painter's signature is not exactly clear. Stylistically, he is close to the so-called Princeton painter and was possibly a close employee of Exekias .
