Arkadiusz Stempin

Arkadiusz Stempin (born 1964 in Nowy Sącz , Lesser Poland ) is a Polish modern historian , university professor and non-fiction author .

Stempin studied history at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg. He wrote his dissertation at the University of Freiburg on the Maximilian Kolbe work as a pioneer of German-Polish reconciliation 1960–1989 , and his habilitation at the University of Freiburg dealt with German occupation policy in Congress Poland during the First World War . He holds the Konrad Adenauer Chair for European Integration at the Józef Tischner University in Krakow.
