Armor Games is a website based in Irvine , California that hosts free browser games. It was founded in 2004 as Games of Gondor by Daniel McNeely. Under that name, she hosted The Lord of the Rings -based games such as: B. "Hob the Hobbit" or "Battle for Gondor". Since it was renamed Armor Games in 2005, it has hosted Flash browser games from a wide variety of genres and has grown into one of the largest Flash portals.

In addition to hosting flash games, Armor Games also develops free games like GemCraft , Super Pig or Warfare 1917 , some of which like Follow the Rabbit or Flight even appeared as games for Apple iOS due to their popularity . It is also possible for users to submit their own games. The Armor Games development team checks these and puts good games on the website.

PC Magazine listed the website as one of the "100 Best Unknown Websites" in 2007.

As of July 1, 2009, Armor Games had an Alexa Rank among the world's most visited websites of 726 with 43 million sessions per month. Since then, there has been an initially slow decline in ranking and user numbers since around 2013. On July 1, 2017, Armor Games was ranked 3209 with 13 million sessions per month.
