Arnold Kuulman

Arnold Kuulman (* 1 February . Jul / 13. February  1895 greg. In Tallinn ; † 26. July 1926 ) was an Estonian national football team.

Athletic career

Kuulman began his football career in 1911 at Tallinna ESS Kalev , one of the first Estonian football clubs.

He then played as a defensive midfielder at Tallinna VS Sport ( Tallinna Võimlemisselts Sport ). In 1914 he took part in the Tallinn team in the 2nd Russian Olympics. In 1915 he was one of the co-founders of the Tallinn sports association Olümpia, along with other Tallinna VS Sport players . With his club Tallinna VS Sport Kuulman was Estonian football champion in 1921 and 1922.

In 1920 Kuulman was first used in the Estonian national football team . The game against the Finns was lost with 0: 6 goals. Three more internationals followed.

His only international goal was in the fourth international match against Finland. It was the Estonian national football team's first ever international goal. The game was lost with 2:10 goals.

Private life

Kuulman was an electrician by profession at the Tallinn company Põhja Puupapi- ja Paberivabrik . In 1926 he died in an accident at work at the age of 31.
