Arnold Meyer-Faje

Arnold Meyer-Faje (born April 25, 1933 as Arnold Meyer in Königsberg , East Prussia ) is a German economist and university professor .

Life

Meyer-Faje was born in Königsberg, escaped to Bavaria and graduated from high school there. After he had started to study economics at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , he moved to the University of Hamburg , where he did his doctorate. From 1972 to 1982 he taught business psychology and business education at the University for Social Education and Social Economics in Bremen and then from 1982 to 1998 management-oriented business administration with a focus on organization and leadership at the University of Bremerhaven .

In addition to numerous contributions to organizational and leadership research, he has been involved in business ethics and Adam Smith research for decades and has spoken out on regulatory issues.

Meyer-Faje is married and has three children.
