Arnulf von Walecourt (also Arnolphe de Walecourt ; * around 1145; † 1218 ) was a Vogt of Merzig and noble lord of the castle of Montclair . After receiving the castle hill, he built Alt-Montclair Castle around 1180 as a fief from the Archbishop of Trier, Arnold I of Valancourt . After his death, the line of the Lords of Walecourt died out, and the fiefdom went back to the Archbishop of Trier, Theoderich von Wied .
