A lock is a mechanical device for locking moving parts or the mechanical process of locking moving parts. For example, the seats in the car can be moved along their rails and then locked in the position that suits the occupants . Another application is securing machine or device parts to protect them from damage during transport. To lock are mainly pegs , securing bolts , screws and clamp - or jigs used.
