The arteria cystica ("gallbladder artery ") is an artery in the abdominal cavity in the area of the upper abdomen, which supplies the gallbladder and the draining bile duct with blood.

In humans, the cystic artery usually arises from the right hepatic artery ( Ramus dexter of the arteria hepatica propria ), rarely from the left hepatic artery or the gastroduodenal artery . Occasionally the vessel is paired. According to its origin, the cystic artery runs above the gallbladder duct and in its course gives off several branches to it and the gallbladder neck. At the gallbladder neck, it usually divides into a superficial and deep branch.
