The gastroduodenal artery ("gastric duodenal artery") is an artery in the abdominal cavity .

The gastroduodenal artery arises from the common hepatic artery ( arteria hepatica communis ), which is a branch of the truncus celiacus . It divides into the superior pancreaticoduodenal artery and the right gastroomental artery . The artery supplies the gastric outlet ( pylorus ), the great curvature of the stomach , the initial section of the duodenum , the great network and the pancreas .
