The arteria thoracica superior ("upper thoracic artery ") is an artery of the trunk. It arises variably, mostly from the axillary artery . It supplies the subclavius ​​muscle , the intercostal muscles of the first two intercostal spaces , the pectoral muscles and the serratus anterior muscle .
