Arthur Franzetti

Arthur Franzetti , actually Arthur Jellinek (born April 1, 1873 in Eibenschitz , Bohemia, † after 1928) was an Austrian comedian, actor and playwright.

Life

It is not known where he received his training. He made his comedian debut in 1899 at the Budapest Orpheum in Vienna. In 1904 he played in the Vienna Folies Caprice, the director of which was Alexander "Sandor" Rott. From 1910 to 1914 he appeared at the Gebrüder-Herrnfeld-Theater in Berlin, and in 1922 at the Metropol Operetten Theater in Cologne. In 1923 Franzetti returned to Vienna, where he directed the Varietè Reklame . In 1928 he reappeared in Germany, then his trail is lost.

He wrote numerous couplets and solo scenes for Armin Berg , Heinrich Eisenbach , Hans Moser and himself as well as Schwänke and operettas.
