Arthur Jackes ( Arthur M. "Art" Jackes; born June 26, 1924 in Toronto , † November 10, 2000 in Greenbank , Washington ) was a Canadian high jumper .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was sixth and at the British Empire Games in Auckland in 1950 tenth.

From 1948 to 1950 he was Canadian champion three times in a row. He set his personal best of 1,955 m in 1949.
