Arthur Mafokate

Arthur Mafokate is a South African musician, dancer, performing artist and record producer . The artist, also known as Mr. Vuvuzela, is seen as one of the pioneers of Kwaito music .

Mafokate was born in Pimville, Soweto Township . His father was the show jumper Enos Mafokate . His family later lived in nearby Chiawelo. Arthur Mafokate became a dancer for musicians like Brenda Fassie , Son of Monwa & Son fame and Johnny Makholi. His hit Kaffir (German: " Kaffer ") from 1995 made him a pioneer of Kwaito.
