Arthur the Angel

Arthur the Angel is a Hungarian - American Cartoons - TV series , which was produced from the 1959th The black and white version was shown on television in the GDR , while the color version of the series was shown in the USA .

The series was produced on behalf of the American company MJP Enterprises at Pannonia in Hungary, the idea came from Art Paul and Gig Friedman.

In 2001 Icestorm Entertainment released nine episodes in German on DVD and VHS . In September 2003, three more episodes followed, which had not previously appeared in German and were dubbed for sale on DVD by electronic film dubbing studios . August 2004 all twelve episodes were released together on one DVD.

Arthur is spoken by Fred Alexander in the German version .

After Arthur goes to heaven, he wants to have a good time here. But Peter always sends him to earth to help people. He experiences various adventures and also gets into difficulties.
