Artig ( pl. Artiger) is the name of a coin that was minted by the Bishops of Dorpat , the Archbishops of Riga and the Livonian Brotherhood of the Sword in the 14th and 15th centuries.

The value of the Artig varied:

  • 1 Artig = 3 Pfennig Luebisch (around 1370)
  • 1 Artig = 2 Pfennig Luebisch (around 1410)
  • 1 Artig = ⅓ Schilling (since 1450)
  • 1 Artig = 1 Pfennig = ⅓ Oer = ¼ Schilling (in the 16th century)
