Artilleros is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located on the territory of the Department of Colonia in its southern part in sector 12 . Artilleros borders with its southern side directly on the coast of the Río de la Plata . About ten kilometers to the east is Juan Lacaze , while about one kilometer to the west at the mouth of the Arroyo Artilleros is the town of Santa Ana .
history
In 1903 the local church was opened.
