Artur Hahnenfurth

Artur Hahnenfurth (born April 5, 1897 in Solingen ; † December 1, 1960 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament of the Communist Party of Germany .

Life and work

From 1930 Hahnenfurt worked as a union secretary. From 1928 he was a member of the city ​​council of Solingen and a member of the Rhineland provincial parliament.

From April 20, 1947 to June 17, 1950, Hahnenfurth was a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 051 Solingen-Altstadt-Höhscheid. In the other constituency of Solingen, Otto Quade , a member of the KPD, was also elected.
