Artur Molin

Artur Molin (* 1977 in Chorzów , German Königshütte) is a German musical performer, singer and actor.

education

Artur Molin attended the Music Conservatory in Diez. After graduating from high school, he first began studying sports science and English, before completing a four-year training in singing, acting and dance as a graduate stage actor at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

Career

After his training, there followed engagements as Tony in the "West Side Story" in Bolzano as well as at the Apollo and Palladium Theater in Stuttgart in "3 Musketeers" and the German premiere of "Wicked - Die Hexen von Oz" in 2010 as a solo singer at the opening ceremony of the RUHR.2010 - European Capital of Culture in Essen. Afterwards Molin turned more to acting and played "Little man, what now?" At the Volkstheater Frankfurt. directed by Michael Wedekind and at the Katakombe in Frankfurt botho in Theodor Fontane's "Irrungen, Wirrungen". Since the 2013/2014 season, Molin has been part of the permanent ensemble of the Hessian State Theater in Marburg, where he appeared as Elwood Blues in "The Blues Brothers" and as Prince in the summer spectacle "Cinderella - A Rock'n'Roll Fairytale". With "Play The Game - A Tribute to Freddie Mercury" Molin has developed his own program for the first time. As Jim Hutton, he tells of the exceptional artist Freddie Mercury and interprets his songs.
