Arugaren is a motu of the Rongelap Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

Arugaren is located on the southern edge of the reef , it is less than three kilometers away from Burok , on the southwest corner of the reef. It is also around three kilometers to Kaeroga, neighboring to the east . The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons .
