Kaeroga (also: Garoga , Kaeroga-tō , Tufa Island ) is a motu of the Rongelap Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

geography

Kaeroga is located in the southern reef rim at Kaeroga Pass , across from Enigan . It is less than three kilometers away from Arugaren to the west . The island itself follows the course of the reef crown in a gentle arc towards the interior of the lagoon. The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons .
