Mariko Asabuki
Mariko Asabuki ( Japanese 朝 吹 真理 子 , Asabuki Mariko ; born December 19, 1984 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese writer.
Asabuki is a PhD student at Keiō University in Tokyo. For her first work Ryūzeki ( 流 跡 , Traces in the Flow, 2009) she was awarded the Bunkamura Prix des Deux Magots in 2010 . In the same year Ieji ( 家 路 , way home) and Kiko towa ( き こ と わ ) appeared. For the latter, she received the Akutagawa Prize in 2011 alongside Nishimura Kenta .
