Hermann Gans zu Putlitz

Noble Herr Hermann Albrecht Gans zu Putlitz (* July 17, 1816 at Wolfshagen Castle , Prignitz , † July 29, 1888 at Wolfshagen Castle , Prignitz) was a German landowner and politician. From 1880 until his death he was a member of the Prussian manor house .

origin

Hermann Gans Noble Herr zu Putlitz came from the old aristocratic family Gans zu Putlitz in Prignitz . The family held the honorary office of the Hereditary Marshal of the Kurmark Brandenburg, who entitles him to a hereditary seat in the Prussian manor house. His father was Ludwig Siegmund Gans zu Putlitz (* December 11, 1783; † June 1, 1845) and his wife Mathilde von Graevenitz (* August 22, 1798; † March 2, 1872).

Life

Hermann Gans was the landlord at Wolfshagen Castle in Prignitz. In Wolfshagen he had Lenné plan the once important palace park on both sides of the Stepenitz. After the death of Eduard Gans zu Putlitz in 1880 he became a senior of the family and thus Hereditary Marshal of the Kurmark Brandenburg and a member of the Prussian manor house for life.

He died unmarried in 1888 at his Wolfshagen Castle.
