Asad Qaiser

Asad Qaiser (born November 15, 1969 or 1968) is a Pakistani politician . He has been in office since August 2018 and a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018 and was a member of the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2013 to 2018 and served as the 14th spokesman for the provincial government from May 2013 to August 2018.

Life

Asad Qaiser was born in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . Qaiser also did his bachelor's degree in Swabi. After graduation, Qaiser was regional chairman of the youth organization Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.

Asad Qaiser began his political career with Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. In 1986 he was elected mayor of Kotha College Swabi as a candidate for Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba. He held the office for two years.

Asad Qaiser joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in 1996 and was nominated as regional president that same year.

In the parliamentary elections in Pakistan in 2013 , he ran in his constituency in Swabi and secured a seat in the parliament of Pakistan. He received 48,576 votes and beat the candidate Attaul Haq, the Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F). Qaiser was also elected to the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He received 14,165 votes, defeating candidate Gul Zamin Shah, the PML-N. Asad Qaiser opted for the seat in the provincial government and against the seat in parliament. In May 2013 Asad Qaiser was elected the 14th spokesman for the KP provincial government.

In the 2018 parliamentary elections in Pakistan , Qaiser was re-elected in his constituency. He received 31,658 votes and beat candidate Maulana Fazal Ali Haqqani, of the Awami National Party. Re-election applies to the Provincial Assembly and the National Assembly. He beat the candidate Sajjid Ahmed and received 78,970 votes. He then gave up his seat in the provincial government. In August 2018, Asad was nominated by his party as Speaker of Parliament and he won the election against candidate Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, the PML-N. He received 176 votes.
