Asamat Mederowitch Bodschokojew ( Russian Азамат Медерович Божокоев , English transcription Azamat Bojokoev ; born March 30, 1994 ) is a Kyrgyz biathlete .
Asamat Bodschokojew took part in the 2011 Winter Asian Games in Almaty at the age of 16 . In the sprint race, he finished 12th out of 14 places; The two participating Taiwanese came in 13th and 14th . His shooting performance in particular prevented a better placement; none of his ten shots hit the target.
In the pursuit race, he did not reach the goal because a faster runner lapped him and he was then taken out of the race according to the regulations. Until then he had nine shooting errors in three shooting bouts.
