The Ascent Glacier (from English ascent , rise, rise, slope ' ) is a glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows in the Miller Range immediately east of the Milan Ridge ridge in a northerly direction to the Argosy Glacier .
Participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961–1962) named it so because they used it as an ascent route to explore the Miller Range.
