Milan Ridge is a mainly ice-free mountain ridge 8 km in length in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flanks the Ascent Glacier to the west in the Miller Range .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the formation in 1966 after Frederick Arthur Milan (1924-1995), who worked in 1957 as a physiologist at Little America V station .
