Pepe Escobar

Pepe Escobar (* 1954 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian investigative journalist . He analyzes geopolitical relationships.

Between 2010 and 2014 he wrote the column "The Roving Eye" for the Asia Times Online . In Brazil he wrote for the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo , O Estado de S. Paulo and Gazeta Mercantil . He has been a foreign correspondent since 1985. Escobar lived in London , Paris , Milan , Los Angeles , Washington, DC , Bangkok and Hong Kong .

He works for Russia Today , The Real News , Sputnik , TomDispatch and the Iranian state Press TV .
