Tom Engelhardt (* 1944 in New York ) is an American blogger, media critic and editor.

life and work

Engelhardt studied at Yale University and Harvard University and founded the independent critical website tomdispatch.com under the umbrella of the Nation Institute , on which he publishes his own essays. In addition, Rebecca Solnit , Bill McKibben, Jonathan Schell, Fatima Bhutto, and Nick Turse write there . He is co-founder of the American Empire Project and publishes a. a. in The Nation and Huffington Post articles on US popular culture, toys, comic strips, and post-war “winning culture”. The critic of US security and military policy teaches journalism at theUniversity of California, Berkeley .
