Fackwerk from Aschaffenburger Strasse 11 in Seligenstadt

The house at Aschaffenburger Straße 11 is a listed half-timbered building in Seligenstadt in the Offenbach district in Hesse .

The three-storey gable-free house stands out due to the decorative framework on the gable and southern eaves side wall. These include curved struts, carved lugs , fire rams and diamond ornaments. A carved head can be seen under the roof ridge. The lugs on the corner post of the first floor are dated 1579. The wooden support on the ground floor is decorated with rich Renaissance carving, mascarons on the base and fluting on the shaft. However, it is largely covered by the shop installation in the formerly open hall.
