Ash Ashworth serves as a soldier with the 28 Engineer Regiment Royal Engineers and also starts for this unit. At the British Championships in Obertilliach in 2009, he won the relay title together with Pete Beyer , Paul Whibley and Jason Sklenar . In the team classification he was runner-up with Beyer, Jason Sklenar and Whibley.
