Peter Beyer (born January 27, 1987 ) is a British biathlete .

Pete Beyer is a soldier in the 1st Logistic Support Regiment, for which he also starts. He has been involved in biathlon since 2005 and has been part of the British national team since 2006. He is trained by Marc Walker . In 2006 he made his debut in Obertilliach in the Junior European Cup, in 2007 he competed at the Junior European Championships in Bansko . The best result was 36th place in the individual. Best result at the Junior World Championships 2008 in Ruhpolding was a 58th place in the pursuit. The best result of the Junior European Championship shortly afterwards was 63rd place in the sprint. In Idre , Beyer made his debut in the Biathlon European Cup in 2008/09 and was 104th in the sprint. A little later he ran in Hochfilzen in the relay a first race in the World Cup and was 21 high point so far in Beyer's career is taking part in the Biathlon World Championships 2009 in Pyeongchang . In the world title competitions in South Korea, the Briton achieved a respectable success as 92nd of the individual, in the sprint he was 114th and with the relay alongside Lee-Steve Jackson , Kevin Kane and Simon Allanson 25th. In February 2011 Beyer reached the IBU- Cup with an 18th place in a sprint race in Bansko his best placement in the second highest racing series.

Beyer was able to achieve some successes nationally, especially in team competitions. In 2007 and 2008 he was runner- up with his regimental team in the relay competition of the British Championships . In 2009 he won the title together with Ash Ashworth , Paul Whibley and Jason Sklenar the title. Beyer was runner-up in the team competition in 2009 and contributed the best performance of all teammates. In 2010 he won gold with the relay and in the team as well as silver in the mass start behind Kane.
