Ashley Thouret

Ashley Thouret (* 1986 in Calgary ) is a Canadian opera singer ( lyric soprano ).

Life

The artist studied singing at the renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia . During her studies, she sang lyrical roles such as Micaela ( Carmen ), Pamina and First Lady ( Die Zauberflöte ) or Zerlina ( Don Giovanni ) at the Curtis Opera Theater. After her training, the singer went to the German National Theater Weimar . There she sang the Fiordigli ( Così fan tutte ). At the 2013 Heidenheim Opera Festival , she played Liu in Turandot .

Thouret has made guest appearances at music stages in Munich, Zurich and Vienna. In addition to her stage presence, she is also active as a song and concert singer.
