The Asia Islands ( Indonesian : Kepulauan Asia ) are a group of islands in the Halmahera Sea .
The group, consisting (from north to south) of the three uninhabited islands Fani , Igi and Miarin , is located about 40 kilometers north of the Indonesian Ayu Islands and about 210 kilometers south of the island of Tobi in the island republic of Palau .
The small islands are densely overgrown and surrounded by a common narrow reef that stretches from northeast to southwest over a length of 12 kilometers.
The largest and northernmost island of Fani is also the northernmost island of the entire Raja Ampat archipelago.
