history
From 1993 Tanoto built an industrial complex with an attached workers' settlement in Pangkalan Kerinci ( Riau ) on Sumatra . The plant has a capacity of 2.8 million t of pulp and 850,000 t of paper per year. In the area there are 480,000 hectares with plantings.
In 2004, APRIL acquired the pulp mill in Rizhao , China.
