Asian Plads

The Asiatisk Plads as seen from the harbor

The Asiatisk Plads ( Asian Place ) is a square in Copenhagen Christianshavn section between the Strandgade and the Copenhagen harbor . The name of the square comes from the Asiatisk Kompagni , which had its headquarters on Strandgade between 1732 and 1843. Today the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is based on Asiatisk Plads.
