Asko cheese
Asko Kase (born February 26, 1979 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian film director.
Life
Asko Kase graduated from high school in his hometown Tallinn. He then attended the private Akadeemia Nord university . From 1998 Kase studied visual design at the Tallinn Pedagogical University . His thesis was the experimental short film Kooma in 2004 .
Kase is the director of numerous short film and television productions as well as commercials. He made his feature film debut in 2008 with Detsembrikuumus . The film was an Estonian nominee for an Oscar in the category “ Best Foreign Language Feature Film ” in 2009 . It is about the communist coup attempt in Estonia in December 1924. For Detsembrikuumus , Kase received the 2009 annual prize from the state cultural foundation Eesti Kultuurkapital .
